Happy new year folks 🎉
So delighted to be accepted as a Spydergrip ambassador and part of the Spydergrip team . I just love this product as it allows me to carry my phone easily and keeps it safe without having to have it strapped to my arm which ALWAYS annoyed me .
it has a very secure Velcro closure on the pocket with two small access points at the top so you can thread your earphone cable through. The straps are sooooooo comfy and are secured easily with Velcro so there’s no awkward buckles to rub you . It also has great reflective areas so helps you to stay safe with your other hiviz gear 👍🏻
I have used it on my last two runs between 4 and 6 miles and had no problems at all 🙂
looking forward to many more miles together with my Spydergrip 👊🏻
Go check it out 😃 at Spydergrip

Had a great time whilst visiting my family on the Isle of Skye last month. I’ve been visiting Skye for years but never really appreciated how many varied runs the island offers. My parents live in the North end of Skye beneath a volcanic line of mountains called the Trotternish ridge and offers some of the most spectacular views I’ve seen ❤️
Summertime can be difficult to road run though due to a very high level of tourists and a lack of pavements for safe running. This area still have some stretches of single track roads with passing places so you have to be ready to jump up on to the grass 🙄. This time of year though is much quieter and runner friendly.
This visit was fantastic as I managed to pack a few runs in which helped burn of the holiday treats and big meals plus helped me to feel good 👍🏻
sometimes I feel I stick to the same route and it can become too easy after a while so it’s great to mix things up a bit and try somewhere new although Skye has some big hills 😳.It’s all good training though and will help me later when I return for the Skye half marathon in June next year. Looking forward to more training runs here around Christmas 😃
How did that happen?????
After saying “NEVER again” last year , I signed up for another two half marathons for 2017 😳 Plus a 10K .This time though, I’ll be prepared ! this time I’ll be proud of my time . Do you say that to yourself? Or is it just me? I don’t know why we beat ourselves up about our finish times, we are only running against ourselves , we all get the same medal don’t we?
I’m trying so hard to give myself a break at times and just have fun ! A saying that always goes round in my head now is ” Just run like a happy dog” 😂 Just like Phoebe in Friends. To be honest, the best runs I have are when I run with my dog Because I have so much fun with her I forget I’m running.
Luna is my training buddy and to be honest I don’t think I need anyone else 😂👍🏻
She is a 6 year old fox red Labrador who is ALWAYS eager to please and ready to run . When we run together we don’t take the Garmin, we just go and have fun and stop to take in the views when we want to 😃
At the moment my runs haven’t reached past 5 miles yet but I’m trying to mix it up with varying my pace and building up stamina before I hit the training plan 😳
This time I’m going to stick to the plan but have happy runs with Luna in between to keep it fun . Hope you’ll join us on our journey 👍🏻
